«Primary Care – the Swiss Journal of Family Medicine» is the official organ of  the Berufsverband der Haus- und Kinderärzte («Hausärzte Schweiz»), the Swiss Society for General Medicine (SGAM), the Swiss Society for Internal Medicine (SGIM), the Swiss Society for Paediatrics (SGP), the College of Primary Care Medicine (KHM) and the Swiss Academy for Psychosomatic and Psychosocial Medicine (SAPPM).

The journal takes up themes specific to family medicine and offers Swiss primary care professionals an editorially independent platform for information, further education and communication.

«PrimaryCare» is published 20 times annually in separate German- and French-language editions. Total circulation 12'000.
