Swiss Medical Informatics

"Swiss Medical Informatics" is the publication organ of the Swiss Society for Medical Informatics (SMI). Its aim is to provide a platform for everyone employed or interested in medical informatics. The SMI concerns itself with all aspects of information and communication technology in the field of healthcare. Whether the debate is about medical informatics, eHealth, telemedicine or ICT in the healthcare field, the SMI has laid down the necessary discussion basis over more than 20 years, has implemented much of it and built up a large body of experience. In the discussion surrounding future trends in Swiss healthcare the SMI will continue to promote standardisation and process optimisation by means of ICT.
  
The journal is published by Schwabe & Co three times a year with a print run of 1'000 copies. Sale of advertising is via Swiss Medical Publishers.
